Kuenning-Pollpeter does not believe in disability, but rather in being "differently able." She has been a Type 1 diabetic for 27 years and blind for eight. She graduated from UNO with a BFA in creative writing. Bridgit also loves reading, walking and jogging. She blogs every other Thursday about diabetes and blindness.
