Jana, an Omaha-based pediatrician and proud mom of three, blogs on Tuesdays. She is co-author of two parenting books -- "Heading Home with Your Newborn" and "Food Fights" -- and three children's books -- "Melvin the Magnificent Molar," “You and Me Against the Pee” and “Amazing Me.” After working as a consultant to Dr. Benjamin Spock, Jana co-founded the Dr. Spock Co. in 1999, then her own company, Practical Parenting Consulting.
